Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within secondary schools based in Salford, Bolton and Bury. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Counsellors, or SEN specialists looking to build valuable classroom experience.

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils

• Support students with SEN

• Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management

• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

• Hold a degree in Psychology

• Have a genuine interest in child development and education

• Be patient, resilient and empathetic

• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Be considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology or mental health support

• Have an understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)

• Ability to commute to either Salford, Bury or Bolton

• Excellent school-based experience

• Dedicated consultant who works in your area and schools
