Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands-on experience in a secondary school setting?
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within secondary schools based in Salford, Bolton and Bury. This role is ideal for aspiring Educational Psychologists, Teachers, Counsellors, or SEN specialists looking to build valuable classroom experience.
The Role:Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils
Support students with SEN
Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom management
Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment
Hold a degree in Psychology
Have a genuine interest in child development and education
Be patient, resilient and empathetic
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
Be considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology or mental health support
Have an understanding of safeguarding (training can be provided)
- Ability to commute to either Salford, Bury or Bolton
Excellent school-based experience
- Dedicated consultant who works in your area and schools
