At Teacher Active, we work closely with a network of primary schools across Carmarthenshire. We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants to support pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in schools across Carmarthen. This may involve 1:1 work with individual pupils or small group interventions, supporting children with a range of needs to help them access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

For the right person, this role may lead to a full-time long-term placement.

• Provide dedicated 1-to-1 support or small group interventions to ALN pupils.

• Help pupils access the curriculum and reach their full potential.

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized learning plans.

• A genuine passion for helping children thrive.

• Experience supporting children with ALN, either 1:1 or in small groups.

• A positive, can-do attitude.

• An understanding of trauma-informed practice and restorative approaches is an advantage.

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff.
