Job Overview
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to join our team at Oakwood main site and Willows primary provision.
Key ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicants will be required to provide 1:1 support to a range of pupils with specific medical needs, physical disabilities and a range of learning difficulties and complex needs.
Qualifications & ExperienceWe are looking for applicants who have high expectations for all students and are committed to developing their full potential. Previous experience in working with pupils with Autism and sensory need is desirable.
Applicants are expected to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess good literacy and numeracy in order to support learning, have the ability to promote independence and confidence and be an excellent role model to all.
Key AttributesYou must have a caring, positive and flexible attitude with a willingness to work as part of a team, and able to use your own initiative and to work without supervision.
Applicants must have the ability to work flexible hours as appropriate.
