Teaching Personnel are working closely with a well-established alternative provision in Billinge that supports secondary-aged pupils who have found mainstream education challenging. The provision is known for its nurturing, relationship-led approach and its commitment to helping young people re-engage with learning, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

- Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to small groups of students
- Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of academic abilities and SEMH needs
- Foster positive relationships to support behaviour, attendance and progress
- Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and senior leaders
- Plan, assess and track progress in line with individual learning plans
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
- Have experience teaching English at secondary level
- Be confident, calm and resilient, with a passion for inclusive education
- Have experience working with SEMH, alternative provision or vulnerable learners (desirable but not essential)
- A supportive and forward-thinking school environment
- Ongoing guidance from a dedicated Teaching Personnel consultant
