Teaching Personnel are working closely with a well-established alternative provision in Billinge that supports secondary-aged pupils who have found mainstream education challenging. The provision is known for its nurturing, relationship-led approach and its commitment to helping young people re-engage with learning, build confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

• Deliver engaging and differentiated English lessons to small groups of students
• Adapt teaching to meet a wide range of academic abilities and SEMH needs
• Foster positive relationships to support behaviour, attendance and progress
• Work closely with teaching assistants, pastoral staff and senior leaders
• Plan, assess and track progress in line with individual learning plans

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) or equivalent
• Have experience teaching English at secondary level
• Be confident, calm and resilient, with a passion for inclusive education
• Have experience working with SEMH, alternative provision or vulnerable learners (desirable but not essential)
