Job Description
Hours of work: 31.6 hours per week. Working pattern:
Part-time, Term‑time only, working for 39 weeks per year plus 5.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years’ continuous service. As the position is part‑time/term‑time only, the above salary will be pro‑rata.
We are looking for someone with a passion for supporting our youngest learners. You will work within a strong and dynamic team, supporting children to learn through play, make strong connections and ultimately supporting them to be "school ready".
You will need a strong commitment to play‑based learning and lots of energy and enthusiasm to play along beside our children, constantly modelling social, emotional and learning behaviour. Commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and working as part of a team is essential.
Qualifications and experience:
- Clear understanding of the role of a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) and experience in working with children.
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification, in addition to English and Maths GCSEs at Grade C or above.
Working hours:
8:35am – 3:25pm Monday to Friday, term time only.
Visits to the school are recommended.
