About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play an important role in supporting teachers and pupils within the classroom. You will help create a positive and engaging learning environment, assist with daily lesson activities, and provide valuable support to students who may need additional guidance.

You may be supporting small groups of pupils, working one-to-one with students who need extra support, or assisting the teacher with preparing learning materials and activities.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting the classroom teacher with daily lesson activities

Working with small groups of pupils or providing one-to-one support

Helping students stay focused, engaged, and confident in their learning

Assisting with classroom preparation and organisation

Supporting pupils who may require additional help with their studies

Promoting a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment

Requirements

To be considered for this position, candidates must have:

At least 1 year of Teaching Assistant experience in a UK school

A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their learning

Strong communication and teamwork skills

A patient, positive, and proactive attitude

The ability to follow instructions and work closely with teaching staff
