Art and DT Teacher – Stoke-on-Trent – May 2026 Start
Academics is a local teacher recruitment agency and we are working with a well-regarded secondary school in Stoke-on-Trent to recruit an Art and DT Teacher on a temporary basis.
Role Details- Start date:
May 2026 - Duration:
Until July 2026 - Key Stages: KS3 and KS4
- Daily rate: £160 – £230 (depending on experience)
The school is an 11–18 mixed comprehensive with a strong local reputation. Applications are welcome from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.
Person Specification- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in Art and DT
- Experience teaching KS3 and KS4 across a range of abilities
- Excellent classroom management and teaching practice
- Ability to engage and inspire students
- Professional, reliable, and committed to safeguarding
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
