Part‑time Class Teacher Vacancy (3 days a week) – To start September 2026

Hours of work: 19.5 hours per week

We are looking for a flexible and skilled classroom practitioner with sound knowledge of adapting teaching in class to meet a range of needs.

You will be joining a small team that makes the best use of our environment to ensure high‑quality learning outcomes. As a community school (we are not a Church of England School) we have pupils from the village of Withyham and the surrounding area (20 minutes away from Tunbridge Wells). You will have to work hard but only on the things that make a difference to the children we teach and nurture.

The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self‑declaration form as part of the pre‑employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

If the preferred candidate is found to be disqualified under the 2018 Regulations, the offer of employment will be subject to the application by the preferred candidate to Ofsted for a waiver and the receipt of a waiver from Ofsted.
