A fantastic Special Needs School in Swindon are seeking a dedicated Autism Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as next week. In this role, you will work closely with one child who has a primary diagnosis of Autism, as well as other associated additional needs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Psychology Graduate or Teaching Assistant/Carer looking to further their experience with SEND.

• Help the student engage in classroom activities and develop their independence.
• Build positive relationships with other pupils and aid them with both verbal and non-verbal communication.
• Assist the class teacher and offer additional support to other pupils when needed.

• Enthusiastic and dedicated with a passion for supporting children with special educational needs.
• Recent graduate with a relevant degree in Psychology, Criminology or Sociology.
• Any experience working with Autism, professional or personal, is beneficial.
• Empathy and flexibility are also important skills.

School day runs from 8:30am to 3:15pm. The Assistant should work full‑time, Monday to Friday.
