Paragon Education is recruiting an engaging and knowledgeable Humanities Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Kidderminster. The school is committed to delivering a broad and balanced curriculum that encourages students to think critically, explore different perspectives, and develop a strong understanding of the world around them.

You will be joining a collaborative humanities department where creativity and high-quality teaching are valued. This is an excellent opportunity to inspire students across subjects such as History, Geography, and Religious Studies.

What the role involves
  • Planning and delivering engaging Humanities lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and analytical skills
  • Supporting students in developing knowledge across a range of humanities subjects
  • Preparing pupils for assessments and GCSE examinations where applicable
  • Differentiating lessons to support varying abilities and learning styles
  • Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development
What you’ll need
  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Experience teaching Humanities subjects in a UK secondary school
  • Strong subject knowledge across History, Geography, or related disciplines
  • Ability to engage and motivate students effectively
  • Good classroom management and organisational skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
