A highly regarded and community-focused primary school in Lambeth is seeking an enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join their KS1 team from September 2026.

This welcoming school is known for its strong pastoral ethos, creative curriculum and high expectations for both behaviour and achievement. Staff work closely together across the key stage, sharing planning and resources to create a supportive and collaborative teaching environment.

The successful Primary School Teacher will take responsibility for a Year 2 class, supporting pupils through an important stage in their learning journey. The school places a strong focus on phonics, reading comprehension and vocabulary development, while also promoting creativity and pupil independence across the wider curriculum.

Leadership is approachable and highly supportive, with clear systems in place to support workload, wellbeing and professional development.

• Planning and delivering engaging KS1 lessons
• Supporting progress in phonics, reading, writing and maths
• Preparing pupils for end of KS1 assessment expectations
• Creating a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff

• Hold QTS with recent UK primary teaching experience
• Have strong KS1 curriculum knowledge
• Demonstrate effective classroom management
• Be organised, reflective and proactive
• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families
