The Governors and Headteacher of St Joseph's Catholic Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, caring and committed

Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated and supportive team.

The successful candidate will work closely with teachersand other staff to support pupils both in class and through targeted interventions, helping children to make progress academically, socially andemotionally.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is committed to supporting and promoting the Catholic ethos of our school.
  • Has experience of working with primary-aged children and understands how tosupport their learning and development.
  • Canwork effectively with individuals, small groups and whole classes underthe direction of the class teacher.
  • Buildspositive relationships with pupils, parents, staff and the wider school community.

  • Isable to support pupils with a range of needs, enabling them to accesslearning successfully.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills.
  • Isreflective, enthusiastic and committed to their own professional development.
  • Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to school life.
