Part Time and Permanent role (3 days per week)

Immediate start

£25,000 FTE per annum (£15,000 pro rata)

Steephill School is seeking a reliable, proactive, and hardworking Caretaker to join our dedicated team and help maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for our children, staff, and visitors.

Main responsibilities:

Opening and securing the school site daily
Ensuring the cleanliness and safety of school buildings and grounds
Monitoring and testing heating, lighting, and security systems
Assisting with setting up rooms and facilities for school events
Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues
Supporting health and safety procedures across the site
Monitoring and maintaining Health and Safety compliance documentation
Carrying out general maintenance and minor repairs ensuring the cost effective use of materials.
