A leading independent preparatory school is seeking a bright, compassionate and academically strong graduate to join their Learning Support team from September 2026.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with pupils with SEND while gaining first-hand experience alongside experienced teachers, SEN professionals and external specialists. As an Aspiring Educational Psychologist, you will support pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping to remove barriers to learning, promote emotional wellbeing and encourage academic progress. Role Overview Full-time, long-term position from September 2026 £ 110 £ 120 per day (term-time only) Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs Delivering targeted interventions and classroom support Working closely with the SENCo, teachers and external professionals Excellent preparation for a career in Educational Psychology Aspiring Educational Psychologist Person Specification 2:1 degree or higher in Psychology or a related subject from a leading UK university Previous experience working with children or young people desirable Genuine interest in child development, SEND and mental health Strong communication and relationship-building skills Patient, empathetic and proactive approach This is an exceptional opportunity for a graduate looking to build meaningful experience in a highly supportive school setting before progressing into Educational Psychology, Clinical Psychology or related professions.
