Overview
We are seeking to appoint a temporary, term‑time only Teaching Assistant (Level 2) to join our outstanding 11‑18 school from 1 September 2026 to 31 August 2027. The role is part‑time (31.25 hours per week, term time only – 9:00 am to 3:45 pm Monday‑Friday, with a 30‑minute lunch break) and based at the Main School or Sixth Form.

- Provide support in the general welfare, personal, social and classroom care of students with special educational needs.
- Work mainly with students in Key Stage 3 and 4 or post‑16 students in Sixth Form.
- Collaborate closely with pastoral staff, including senior pastoral staff, Heads of Year, SENDCO and Student Support Managers.
- Develop and maintain positive, supportive relationships with students, acting on own initiative and resilience.
- Participate in continuous staff development and attend relevant training as required.
- Level 2 teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Resilience, enthusiasm and the ability to work independently.
- Commitment to pastoral care and student welfare.
