About the RoleAt Closeburn House School, we believe that great teachers do far more than deliver lessons—they unlock potential, nurture resilience and empower young people to believe in themselves. We’re looking for an enthusiastic, creative and compassionate Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a specialist setting where relationships matter, individuality is celebrated, and every achievement—big or small—is recognised and valued.

You'll adapt your teaching to meet individual needs, helping pupils overcome barriers to learning while celebrating their unique strengths and successes. Working collaboratively with colleagues, families and external professionals, you'll play an important role in ensuring every young person receives the support, encouragement and opportunities they need to flourish.
No two days are ever the same. One moment you’ll be delivering dynamic classroom experiences; the next, you’ll be guiding a pupil through a challenge, celebrating a breakthrough moment, or contributing to innovative approaches that shape the future of the school.
