Dyffryn Taf is looking to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Mathematics to cover a period of maternity leave. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, hardworking department and will have the ability and vision to lead pupils to exceptional outcomes.

• Work collaboratively with the department to maximise pupil potential and enhance learning opportunities.
• Develop and implement units that align with the New Curriculum in Mathematics.
• Lead pupils to exceptional outcomes, demonstrating a positive learning environment.
• Use real‑life contexts to explore and consolidate mathematical concepts, supporting pupils to become creative and critical thinkers.

Applicants must:

• Be a qualified teacher of Mathematics.
• Have basic conversational Welsh (Level 2). Support can be provided to achieve this level.
• Undergo an Enhanced DBS check.
• Be eligible to work in the United Kingdom.
