Primary School Teaching Assistant (TA)

Salary: £92.56 - £95.00 per day (depending on experience)

Hours: 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday (Term time only)

Location: Bodmin and surrounding areas

Contract: Full-time, Term-time

We are seeking enthusiastic, patient, and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support local primary schools across Bodmin and the surrounding areas
. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in children's education while working structured, school-friendly hours close to home.

As a Primary TA, you will work closely with class teachers to create a supportive, engaging learning environment. Your day-to-day will include:

• Supporting pupils inside and outside the classroom, either 1:1 or in small groups.

• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and keeping students focused on their tasks.

• Assisting the teacher with setting up learning resources and activities.

• Encouraging children's social and emotional development, boosting their confidence.

• A warm, approachable, and resilient personality.

• Strong communication skills and a good level of literacy and numeracy.

• Previous experience working with children (e.g., in a school, nursery, youth club, or coaching setting) is highly desirable.

• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
