Salary:
Grade 7 Point 15 to Point 19 – £30,024 to £32,061 per annum pro rata (£15.56 to £16.61 per hour).

This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our Additional Learning Needs Department. The successful candidate will play a key role in fostering a love of learning and contributing to our dynamic and forward‑thinking department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Care deeply for the wellbeing and academic success of all pupils.
  • Effectively support pupils with ASD.
  • Develop pupils’ literacy, numeracy and digital competency skills.
  • Be highly motivated, inspire a love of learning and ensure all pupils achieve the highest possible academic standards.
  • Be dynamic in the classroom and maintain very high standards of support.
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills, be a true team player and be adept at working independently.
  • Have excellent organisational skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Have a good working knowledge of current ALN legislation, procedures and inclusive, person‑centred practices.
  • Contribute fully to providing extra‑curricular opportunities.
  • Have a 'can do' attitude to problem solving.
