Salary: £26,980 – £31,245 per year.

We are looking for someone who is flexible, adaptable, and great with young people to join us as a Progress Coach. You will be working with support teams and curriculum to provide wraparound support. If you enjoy communicating in groups and with individuals, helping them develop resilience and personal skills, then this is the role for you.

Welsh skills are desirable for this post. Applications in Welsh are welcome. We are committed to promoting the Welsh language and culture.

This role requires a DBS check, and successful candidates may also be required to register with the Education Workforce Council.

This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order, is regulated activity, requiring an Enhanced DBS with Barred List check, and applicants must disclose all cautions and convictions.

Responsibilities
  • Work with support teams and curriculum to provide wraparound support to students.
  • Communicate effectively in groups and with individuals to build resilience and personal skills.
  • Promote the Welsh language, supporting bilingual provision and service.
  • Support safeguarding and welfare of all learners.
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in education, support coaching or a related field.
  • Clear DBS check, with enhanced DBS for work with children.
  • Willingness to disclose cautions and convictions as required.
  • Knowledge and skills in Welsh language desirable; proficiency considered an asset.
  • Ability to register with the Education Workforce Council if necessary.
