Pay: £95 to £105 per day.
Teaching Personnel is seeking committed and resilient Behaviour Mentors to provide targeted support to pupils presenting behavioural challenges in Newcastle secondary schools. This role involves working closely with the SENCo and teaching staff to deliver structured interventions that promote emotional regulation, engagement, and positive behaviour.
What you’ll be doing- Deliver short‑term behaviour interventions to identified pupils
- Provide consistent 1:1 and small group support
- Assist pupils in developing positive behaviour strategies
- Work collaboratively with SEN and pastoral teams
- Follow whole school behaviour and safeguarding protocols
- Experience supporting children or young people with behavioural needs
- Confidence in delivering structured behavioural support
- Calm, patient and professional under pressure
- Ability to adapt support strategies to meet individual pupil needs
- Competitive daily rate of £95 – £100 per day
- Weekly PAYE payments, ensuring consistent and reliable income

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
