Key responsibilities
  • Deliver PE lessons and structured physical activity programmes to small groups of learners.
  • Support the delivery of a broad and balanced curriculum, with a focus on practical, hands‑on learning.
  • Plan and lead sessions that promote fitness, wellbeing, teamwork, and personal development.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to adapt learning to meet individual needs of pupils.
  • Provide classroom support across a range of subjects when required.

  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and structured environment that promotes engagement and achievement.

  • Experience working with young people, ideally those with additional needs or challenging behaviours.
  • A passion for physical education, sport, and practical learning.
  • Confidence in leading and managing groups independently.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A calm, patient, and resilient approach.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.

  • Hybrid working arrangement with an appointed contractual work base; commuting may be required.
  • No visa sponsorship available due to immigration law changes.
Benefits

  • Supportive, experienced multidisciplinary team.
  • Ongoing professional development opportunities.
  • Role combines education, sport, and mentoring.
