About the Role: Based at Bicton College, the Enterprise & Cafe Coordinator is responsible for the daily running of the site’s Foundation Learning enterprise space, the E3 Café. The role involves managing the café operations and collaborating with tutors, support staff, learner groups and individual learners to ensure efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities: Provide a real‑life learning experience for every learner, incorporating the 21 competencies required for them to be “work ready”.
Skills & ExperienceThe ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and learning, have a positive approach to supporting learners within the Further Education sector, and hold or be working towards a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate and a teaching qualification. Experienced in hospitality or catering, able to coach and develop young people, especially those with SEN. Strong teamwork, organisational and record‑keeping skills are essential, along with an understanding of small business operations and employability skills.
A flexible, adaptable, independent and change‑embracing approach is highly desirable.
