Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Brentwood that is looking to appoint a dedicated Learning Support Assistant. The school promotes an inclusive and supportive learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive both academically and socially.

The school is seeking a Learning Support Assistant on a long-term basis from September 2026. The successful Learning Support Assistant will work on a one-to-one basis with a Year 2 pupil with additional needs, providing tailored support throughout the school day, encouraging engagement in learning and helping to promote independence and confidence.

• Provide one-to-one support to a Year 2 pupil with additional needs across the school day, with tailored strategies to support engagement and learning.
• Encourage engagement in learning and help to promote independence and confidence.

• Experience supporting children with additional needs
• Previous experience working within a Primary School environment
• Understanding of strategies to support children on a one-to-one basis
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• A calm, patient and nurturing approach
• The ability to adapt support to meet individual learning needs
