This is a unique opportunity to join the founding team at Tile House School, a brand‑new specialist school opening in Buckinghamshire. We’re looking for an inspirational SEN Teacher who is passionate about changing lives through education. As one of our first teaching staff, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the culture, curriculum and future of our school while delivering exceptional learning experiences for pupils with Autism and additional needs.

• Plan and deliver engaging, personalised lessons for individuals and small groups, tailored to pupils’ individual needs.
• Create, review and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), Behaviour Plans and personalised learning programmes.
• Monitor, assess and celebrate pupil progress, maintaining accurate records and identifying next steps.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment that promotes confidence, independence and achievement.
• Support pupils’ emotional wellbeing, behaviour and personal development using nurturing and therapeutic approaches.
• Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, therapists, families and the wider multidisciplinary team.
• Contribute to curriculum development, whole‑school improvement and the continued growth of our brand‑new school.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of every pupil, ensuring the highest standards of care, wellbeing and inclusion.

• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
• Has experience supporting children and young people with Autism, SEND, SEMH or other complex needs.
• Is passionate about delivering creative, inclusive and personalised learning.
• Builds positive, trusting relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
• Is organised, reflective and committed to achieving the very best outcomes for every learner.
• Is resilient, adaptable and excited by the opportunity to help establish a brand‑new specialist school.
• Is committed to ongoing professional development and evidence‑informed practice.

Tile House School is an exciting new addition to the Acorn Education family, provisionally set to open its doors in April 2027.
