We are now looking to connect with passionate Science Teachers seeking permanent opportunities across KS3 and KS4.

The role

As a Permanent Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging practical and theoretical lessons across Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science, depending on your specialism.

You will take responsibility for:

Planning and delivering Science lessons across KS3 and KS4
Preparing students for GCSE Science qualifications
Creating engaging practical and theory-based learning experiences
Maintaining safe and effective classroom and laboratory practice
Assessing progress and supporting student achievement
Contributing to the Science department and wider school community

What you need

It is ESSENTIAL for the successful candidate to have:

QTS or QTLS
A degree or relevant background in Biology, Chemistry, Physics or General Science
Experience teaching Science within secondary education
Strong classroom management and communication skills

Other DESIRABLE skills include:

Experience preparing students for GCSE Science
Ability to teach across combined science
Specialism in Biology, Chemistry or Physics
Experience working with science technicians and practical resources
