SEND Tutor - Inclusive Education & Alternative Learning Support
Location: Brighton & Hove
Pay Rate: £30-£42 per hour
Contract Type: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)

We are currently seeking dedicated and experienced SEND Tutors to deliver high-quality, personalised learning support to children and young people across Brighton & Hove.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the educational journeys of learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), helping them build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve positive outcomes in a supportive and inclusive environment.
Whether you're a qualified teacher or an experienced SEND practitioner, you'll join a team committed to creating engaging learning experiences that enable every learner to thrive.
Role- Deliver tailored one-to-one or small-group tuition that meets individual learning needs
- Design engaging lessons that promote confidence, independence, and academic progress
- Adapt teaching approaches to suit different learning styles and abilities
- Monitor learner development and provide clear, constructive feedback
- Maintain accurate progress records and written reports
- Prioritise safeguarding, wellbeing, and learner welfare at all times
- Work collaboratively with families, schools, local authorities, and other professionals to support positive outcomes
- Qualified teacher or experienced SEND practitioner
- Experience supporting learners with a range of SEND needs
- Experience working within primary, secondary, further education, or alternative provision settings
- Strong commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding best practice
- Excellent communication, organisational, and written reporting skills
- Passion for helping learners overcome barriers and reach their full potential
- Competitive hourly rates of £30-£42 per hour
