Teacher Active are actively recruiting in partnership with our fantastic client school based in Swindon for a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Business & Economics to join their successful team from September 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a thriving and supportive department, teaching motivated students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will have the passion and subject knowledge to deliver engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of the business world and economic principles while preparing them for future success.

As a Teacher of Business & Economics, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons in Business and Economics.
• Inspire students to develop analytical, commercial and problem-solving skills.
• Assess, monitor and support student progress to help them achieve their full potential.
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment where every student can succeed.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop an ambitious and engaging curriculum.
• Contribute positively to the wider life of the school community.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Business and/or Economics within a secondary school or sixth form setting.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine enthusiasm for Business and Economics.
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
• A commitment to raising standards and supporting student achievement.
• A reflective and proactive approach to professional development.
