Year 6 Teacher - Experienced Primary Practitioner

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated Year 6 Teacher to support a primary school seeking a strong classroom practitioner.

The school is looking for a teacher who can confidently prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school while maintaining an engaging, supportive, and positive learning environment.

This role would suit a teacher who enjoys helping pupils achieve their best during one of the most important years of their primary education.

The Role:

Full classroom teaching responsibilities within Year 6
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
Preparing pupils for end-of-year assessments and secondary transition
Monitoring attainment and implementing strategies to support progress
Creating a positive and focused learning environment
Working closely with colleagues, parents, and support staff

The Ideal Candidate :
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has recent experience teaching within KS2
Strong understanding of Year 6 expectations and curriculum requirements
Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Passionate about raising attainment and pupil confidence
Committed to delivering high-quality teaching and learning
