Corwen, Denbighshire. We are looking for a Maths Teacher to educate our pupils in our Estyn registered independent school. We are seeking someone with an inspirational approach to delivering the curriculum. The successful candidate will join our thriving school and make a real difference to the lives of our learners.
School contextThe Branas School supports up to 25 young people aged 11–18. Many pupils may have experienced significant adverse childhood experiences and may present with complex needs. The school supports learners with complex social, emotional and mental health needs, alongside mild to moderate learning difficulties, requiring nurture and motivation from teachers who are dedicated to helping them reach their potential. Through personalised support, we help learners achieve their goals and overcome barriers to learning and achievement.
Our vision is for students to be supported academically and to develop self-esteem, confidence, respect and consideration for others, enabling them to become effective and contributing members of the community.
- Teaching small groups of pupils within the classroom.
