Behaviour Mentor Enfield Immediate Start This specialist SEMH school in the London Borough of Enfield is seeking a resilient and committed Behaviour Mentor to join their team on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. Supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism and additional behavioural challenges, the school provides a therapeutic, relationship-led environment where consistency, trust and positive role models are central to every student's success.
Behaviour Mentor What the School Offers Specialist training in SEMH, de-escalation and trauma-informed practice Small class sizes with excellent staff-to-pupil ratios A supportive pastoral team and experienced Senior Leadership Team Ongoing CPD and opportunities for career progression Full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity Behaviour Mentor What the Role Involves As a Behaviour Mentor, you will work closely with pupils who require additional behavioural and emotional support, helping them regulate emotions, engage positively with learning and develop confidence within the school environment.
You'll support students both inside and outside the classroom, implement behaviour strategies, build trusted relationships and work collaboratively with teachers, pastoral staff and external professionals to remove barriers to learning. Behaviour Mentor What the School is Looking For The ideal Behaviour Mentor will have experience supporting young people with SEMH needs, challenging behaviour or additional needs within education, youth work, care or similar settings.
The school is seeking a calm, resilient and approachable Behaviour Mentor who can build strong relationships, remain consistent under pressure and act as a positive role model for vulnerable young people. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position. This is not a relocation opportunity.
