40 hours per week | Monday–Friday | Salary:
Up to £54,453 per annum (depending on experience, not pro rata)

We're looking for an enthusiastic, creative and compassionate Teacher to join our dedicated team on a maternity cover basis and help transform the lives of our pupils through outstanding education.

What You'll Be Doing Plan and deliver engaging, creative lessons that motivate and inspire every learner. Adapt teaching to meet individual needs, enabling pupils to achieve meaningful academic, social and emotional progress.

Monitor, assess and celebrate pupil achievement, using assessment to inform future learning. Prepare pupils for examinations and support a range of assessment activities. Build positive, trusting relationships that promote confidence, resilience and independence. Work collaboratively with families, colleagues and external professionals to provide the very best outcomes for pupils. Contribute to curriculum development, school improvement and the wider life of the school.

Safeguard and promote the welfare, health and wellbeing of every child. About you We're looking for someone who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification. Is passionate about inclusive education and helping every young person succeed. Brings creativity, enthusiasm and energy into the classroom. Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues. Is resilient, adaptable and thrives in a rewarding specialist setting. Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team. Is committed to continuous professional development and delivering outstanding learning experiences.

Holds a full UK Driving Licence. About Us Closeburn House is located in beautiful rural location in Dumfriesshire, Southwest Scotland yet close to principle towns and villages that offer a wealth of interest and beauty - all of which are utilised through 24 hour learning opportunities where appropriate.
