Job Introduction
We’re seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mandatory Trainer
, predominantly focusing on the delivery of Fire Safety, Warden, and Evacuation training
. There will also be a requirement to deliver other quality & safety training where needed such as BLS, PM&H, conflict resolution for clinical colleagues across our community adult and children’s services. This is a unique opportunity for someone who’s looking to step back into the sector in a part-time or flexible capacity while making a real difference. Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to travel to our Essex, Kent and prison (Chelmsford & Norwich) hubs to deliver training.
We can consider full-time and part-time applications.
- Support on the internal quality assurance of all clinical and quality and safety learning interventions, ensuring compliance with the TLE Quality Assurance process.
- Maintain the clinical and quality and safety training course catalogue, ensuring all course information is up to date at all times.
- Involved in relevant clinical and quality and safety training projects and programmes of work.
- Support the education, development and support of SME’s delivering learning interventions in the organisation.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in learning provision.
- Manage own workload, possessing excellent planning, prioritisation, organisational and time‑management skills and the ability to plan any travel effectively.
- Support training needs analysis to identify demand for learning interventions prior to development.
Essential criteria:
- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
- Recognised level 4 teaching, training or assessing qualification (or willingness to achieve this within a set period).
- Ability to deliver training covering a wide range of health and care appropriate subject specialisms.
- Experience of designing, developing and delivering high‑quality blended learning solutions suitable for a health and care audience.
- Experience and competence in using digital tools in the development and delivery of training solutions.
- Knowledge and experience of curriculum development and course design.
- £34,000 – £36,000 annual salary (dependent on experience) with group pension.
