KS1 Teaching Assistant
Overview: Support pupils in Years 1 and 2 as they develop key literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom support to the teacher
- Deliver small-group interventions in phonics, reading, and maths
- Support pupils with varying learning needs
- Encourage positive behaviour and engagement
- Assist with classroom preparation and displays
Ideal Candidate:
- Minimum 3 months' experience within a primary school setting
- Understanding of phonics programmes is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive and proactive attitude
