About the RoleAs a Games Design Lecturer at Kidderminster College, you will:
- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Games Design programmes, including Level 2 provision
- Plan and prepare learning activities that meet awarding body and curriculum requirements
- Support learners in developing creative, technical, and industry-relevant skills
- Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement
- Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the learner experience and curriculum delivery
- Experience with in Games Design, Games Development, Digital Media, or a related creative industry
- Knowledge of games design principles, development tools, and creative technologies
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A passion for supporting and developing learnersA teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one) is desirable
- A valid or up-to-date DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
