What You'll Be Doing Deliver engaging, creative and differentiated lessons that inspire pupils and support excellent progress. Adapt learning to meet a wide range of Special Educational Needs, ensuring every pupil can succeed.

Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where pupils feel safe, respected and motivated to learn. Promote pupils' confidence, independence, emotional wellbeing and personal development. Work collaboratively with the Headteacher and colleagues to help shape the curriculum and contribute to the development of a new specialist school. Assess, monitor and celebrate pupil progress, using outcomes to inform future planning. Teach across a range of curriculum areas where appropriate, encouraging curiosity and a love of learning.

Build positive relationships with families, colleagues and external professionals to achieve the very best outcomes for pupils. Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils, maintaining the highest standards of care and professionalism.

What Were Looking For We're looking for someone who is:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification. Passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and complex learning needs. Creative, adaptable and committed to delivering engaging, personalised learning experiences. Patient, resilient and able to build trusting relationships with pupils who may have experienced significant challenges. A collaborative team player who is excited by the opportunity to help establish and shape a brand-new specialist school.
