Part‑time Teacher of Computing (0.2‑0.3 FTE, 1‑1.5 days a week) from September 2026 across Beacon Hill Community School in Aspatria and Solway Community School in Silloth. The main focus will be teaching KS3 Computing, with potential to extend to GCSE.
Key responsibilities- Deliver engaging Computing lessons to KS3 pupils.
- Plan and assess learning resources and outcomes.
- Collaborate with colleagues across both schools.
- Support pupils of all abilities to reach their potential.
- Take on additional duties as required, such as extracurricular activities or curriculum development.
- Teaching qualification or MPR; unqualified experts interested in teaching are welcomed.
- Strong grasp of Computing subject matter and effective communication skills.
