Registered Manager
Location: Carnforth, LA6
House Size: 2 Bed Home (One Child Placed)
Salary: £46,331 - £52,123 per annum + 10% discretionary bonus

- Full induction and therapeutic parenting training
- Level 4 Children and Young People Practitioner Qualification (England), SCQF Level 7/HNC (Scotland), or Level 3 Residential Childcare qualification
- Minimum 2 years' experience within the last 5 years in children's residential care
- Minimum 1 year's experience within the last 5 years leading or supervising staff in a residential care setting
- Strong knowledge of safeguarding, regulatory compliance, and quality standards
- Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Willingness to achieve Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management (England) or SCQF Level 10 Care Services Leadership & Management (Scotland)
- Exceptional understanding of safer recruitment practices
- Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office packages
- Full UK driving licence
- Knowledge of Therapeutic Parenting (desirable)
- Qualified or working towards Level 5/SCQF Level 10 Leadership & Management qualification (desirable)
- Lead and inspire a residential childcare team
- Ensure compliance with OFSTED regulations and standards
- Create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment for young people
- Drive positive outcomes for children and young people aged 8–18
- Oversee safeguarding practices and regulatory compliance
- Manage and develop staff performance and wellbeing
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership and the in-house psychology team
- Maintain high standards of care and service delivery
- Support the home's development and continuous improvement
- Ensure effective care planning and implementation
