University Excellence Scholarship – University of Wollongong

The University Excellence Scholarship is a prestigious award offered by the University of Wollongong (UOW) to international students commencing undergraduate studies in 2024. It recognises outstanding academic achievement and provides financial support to help students achieve their academic goals.

• Enrol in any UOW undergraduate course in 2024 (Australian campuses only)
• Must be an international student
• Have excellent results in one of the following categories:
  • Australian Year 12 or equivalent international secondary school qualification
  • Foundation studies programs approved for direct admission to bachelor degrees at a UOW‑recognised institution
  • Diploma or other academic pathway program approved for credit exemption from an institution with a formal agreement with UOW
  • Academic programmes (including bachelor degrees) approved for admission into bachelor degrees at a UOW‑recognised institution
• Not be in receipt of any other scholarship (excluding stipend scholarships), sponsorship, bursary, or discount
• Achieve a minimum cumulative Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of 50
• Exclude the following courses:
  • Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics
  • Bachelor of Exercise Science and Rehabilitation
  • Bachelor of Nutrition Science
  • Bachelor of Exercise Science
  • Bachelor of Education (Primary, Mathematics, Science, Health and Physical Education, Early Years)

This scholarship will be issued to eligible students with offers from 5 September 2023, for students commencing in 2024 and beyond. No separate application is required; students will be automatically considered.
