Nursery Nurse

East Midlands/ temporary / £14.25 - 16.50 per hour

Teacher Active is proud to be working with a welcoming nursery setting in Derby. The nursery provides a nurturing and engaging environment, focusing on play‑based learning and supporting children to achieve their early learning goals within a safe and structured setting.

The nursery is looking to take on a Nursery Practitioner on a full‑time basis with an immediate start. The successful Nursery Practitioner will work shifts between 8 am and 6 pm, supporting children through small group work, continuous provision and personal care, while applying strong knowledge of the Early Years Curriculum and early learning goals.

• Level 3 or Level 2 Childcare qualification, or 6 months plus relevant Early Years experience
• Experience working within an Early Years setting
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and early learning goals
• Understanding of continuous provision and play‑based learning
• Experience supporting children with personal care and small group activities
• A positive, flexible and ‘can‑do’ attitude
