Simply Education is delighted to be working in partnership with one of our valued clients to recruit a dedicated and experienced Specialist Teacher to join their team from September. This is a full-time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a specialism in English, Maths or Science who is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people.

The school delivers an engaging, well-planned curriculum designed to inspire learners, build confidence, and promote positive outcomes. With a strong focus on personal development alongside academic achievement, every pupil is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Due to the diverse needs of the pupils, lessons will be delivered primarily at Functional Skills level, with opportunities to teach GCSE content where appropriate to individual learners.

About the Role

As a Specialist Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across the curriculum, with a primary focus on your subject specialism of English, Maths or Science.

You’ll teach very small classes of no more than four pupils, giving you the opportunity to provide highly personalized learning experiences and build meaningful relationships that have a lasting impact on each student’s progress and wellbeing.

Working closely with colleagues across education, care, and clinical services, you will contribute to a supportive, structured environment that helps reduce barriers to learning and promotes both academic and personal development.

This is a rewarding opportunity to help young people develop confidence, independence, and the skills they need to succeed both in education and in everyday life.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or QTLS.
  • A subject specialism in English, Maths or Science.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN and/or SEMH needs.
  • A caring, patient, and compassionate approach.
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the school's location.
Benefits
  • Full-time position starting in September.
  • Potential for the role to become permanent.
  • Small class sizes (maximum of four pupils), allowing for highly personalized teaching.
  • Supportive and collaborative multi-disciplinary team.
  • Competitive salary of £(Apply online only) per day.
