SEND Teacher – Specialist School – Chigwell | September Start

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher looking for an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with additional needs?

We are working with a welcoming specialist school in Chigwell that is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher with QTS to join their supportive team from September.

The school provides a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils receive personalised support to help them overcome barriers to learning and achieve their individual goals. Staff work collaboratively to create engaging learning experiences that support pupils’ academic progress, communication, independence, and personal development.

As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils. You will work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure every pupil receives the support they need to thrive.

The ideal candidate will:
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Have experience teaching pupils with SEND or within a specialist setting
  • Be confident adapting lessons to meet a range of complex needs
  • Have a patient, nurturing, and creative approach to teaching
  • Be passionate about helping pupils achieve their full potential
  • Work effectively as part of a collaborative team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
