Do you want to work in a school where the behaviour and attitudes of students is outstanding, a school which is driven by strong values, a caring ethos and a commitment to educational excellence, and where each and every student knows the gift of life in all its fullness? Furthermore, a school where extra-curricular success is amongst the highest in the country and student outcomes are well above national average.

St. Aidan's CE High School is seeking to appoint a committed, organised and enthusiastic Science Technician to join our successful Science faculty, as soon as possible from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a practical and reliable individual to play a key role in supporting high-quality science teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing equipment, materials and resources for practical lessons, maintaining laboratories and preparation areas, supporting health and safety procedures, and assisting with stock control and equipment maintenance.

Working closely with teaching staff and the Senior Science Technician, you will help ensure that practical science activities are delivered safely and effectively, enabling students to enjoy engaging and inspiring learning experiences.

Interviews will take place in early September 2026.
