Are you a passionate English teacher ready to inspire secondary school students? Supply Desk is seeking a dynamic educator to join an ambitious English department in the Rickmansworth area. The successful candidate will inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially Key Stage
5), delivering engaging lessons that build confidence, problem-solving skills and a passion for English.

This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced teachers and ECTs looking to develop their career within a positive and ambitious school environment.

• Teach Key Stage 3–5 English (or grades 7–12) through engaging lessons covering literature, language, and writing skills.
• Support student growth with assessments, constructive feedback and guidance.
• Encourage reading, critical thinking and effective communication.
• Collaborate with a supportive, innovative teaching team.
• Help students develop confidence, creativity and analytical skills.

• Degree in English, English Literature, or related field; teaching qualification preferred (QTS).
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Passion for inspiring young learners and making English engaging and relevant.
