Location: Brighton Head Office - Remote

Salary: Up to £16,000 per annum pro rata.

The Curriculum Coordinator position is a key position in the Curriculum Office, which is part of the Education & Innovation team. The purpose of the role is to coordinate the delivery of Curriculum Office activities and to maintain and develop the processes required to achieve this.

The post-holder will report directly to the Global Director (Curriculum) and will be responsible for providing administrative support and to report progress on the various work streams within the department. You will be good with data and will be involved in providing due diligence data from our university partners, and wider Study Group teams and systems, including Study Global, MDM, sales and marketing data that support design of new curriculum products.

You will work closely with Associate Directors of Curriculum, coordinating meetings between various work streams within the department, across departments and across centres globally and providing key administrative support.

The Curriculum Office is committed to delivering a high-quality learning experience for all students and the post-holder will work collaboratively with others to ensure that the necessary mechanisms are in place to achieve this. This includes supporting ongoing projects to design new models of teaching and assessment delivery, bringing departments academic calendar in line with that of the centres.

The post-holder will also provide administrative support for key events in the Academic Planning Cycle.

Candidates will have experience of handling data, manipulating them on spreadsheets and providing administrative support at senior management level and experience of working independently to manage a complex workload, ensuring that deadlines are met and that expectations are achieved.

ABOUT

THE ROLE

Data Management and Quality Assurance

  • Maintain the CO’s definitive datasets , ensuring accuracy and currency and produce reports for the Global Director (Curriculum).
  • Ensure Study Group policies and standard operating procedures are followed
  • Support the CO team in preparation for quality assurance and enhancement activities.
  • Support the collection of due diligence data from university partners and manipulating this data to be used in the design of new curriculum products
  • Collating and presenting data to support planning and decision-making, including reporting on data related to student outcomes, curriculum and assessment reviews and providing summaries of qualitative and quantitative data collected via centre feedback processes (eg end of module feedback survey).

Curriculum Support

  • Supporting the design and development of new models of curriculum and assessment planning, design and delivery, including maintaining project plans; proof-reading key documentation; providing administrative and clerical support for meetings and liaising with colleagues across the directorate, as well as key stakeholders in the centres globally and partner universities.
  • Providing administrative support to the department, including arranging meetings, agenda management and note-taking
  • Supporting the self-assessment process, including the creation of templates and guidance documentation, as well as the management of associated resources designed to support the tracking of progress with this area of work (eg spreadsheets). Coordinating the collation of these documents for dissemination at various committee and board meetings.
  • Liaising with colleagues across centres to ensure the effective flow of information between committees and groups involved in the delivery of curriculum and assessment.
