HLTA | Enfield | September 2026 Start Are you an experienced education professional looking for your next HLTA opportunity in a supportive secondary school? An inclusive secondary school in Enfield is seeking a confident and proactive HLTA to join their team from September 2026. This HLTA role is ideal for someone with previous tutoring, mentoring, coaching, teaching or other child-centred experience.
As an HLTA, you will provide classroom support, deliver targeted interventions and work closely with teaching, SEND and pastoral staff to help pupils make progress. The successful HLTA will be confident supporting pupils across the school, building positive relationships and taking initiative where needed. This HLTA position offers the opportunity to make a genuine difference while developing your experience within a supportive secondary school environment.
Role Overview | HLTA Provide classroom support across KS3-KS5. Deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions. Support pupils with their academic progress, confidence and engagement. Work closely with teachers, SEND staff and pastoral teams. Adapt support to meet individual pupil needs. Take initiative and provide additional support where required. Build positive and professional relationships with pupils. HLTA | Candidate Profile A high-achieving graduate with a degree from a leading UK university.
Previous experience working with children or young people. Experience in tutoring, mentoring, coaching, teaching or another child-centred role is highly desirable. Confident supporting pupils in both classroom and intervention settings. Ideally looking to develop a long-term career in education. Why Join This School?
