We are recruiting confident, adaptable and enthusiastic Qualified Teachers to work across schools throughout RCT, including Pontypridd, Aberdare, Mountain Ash, Tonypandy, Porth, Treorchy, Ferndale, Tylorstown, Llantrisant, Talbot Green, Tonyrefail, Church Village and Beddau.
We have opportunities available for teachers seeking flexible daily supply work, short-term cover, long-term placements or ongoing school-based roles. Whether you are an experienced teacher, a newly qualified teacher or returning to education, we would be interested in hearing from you.
The Qualified Teacher Role- Delivering engaging lessons in line with the school curriculum
- Following existing lesson plans or preparing suitable teaching materials
- Managing classroom behaviour effectively
- Assessing and monitoring pupil progress
- Supporting pupils with different abilities and learning needs
- Creating a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with teaching assistants and school staff
- Providing feedback and completing necessary handover notes
- Following school safeguarding policies and procedures
Opportunities may be available across a variety of subjects and key stages within primary, secondary and specialist schools.
- Qualified Teacher Status or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Previous classroom teaching experience
- Strong classroom and behaviour-management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- The confidence to adapt to different schools and year groups
- A professional, flexible and dependable approach
- A genuine commitment to supporting pupils' learning and development
- A good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities within education
