Religious Education Teacher Full-Time  Long-Term Opportunity  Starting November 2026

Here is a thriving 11–19 secondary school with sixth form, providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where students are encouraged to achieve their full potential academically and personally.

In its most recent Ofsted inspection, the school was judged Good across all key areas.

Duties as Religious Education Teacher:
Teach Religious Education to Year 10 and Year 11 students
Plan and deliver engaging GCSE-level lessons
Encourage discussion, analysis, and critical thinking
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress
Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all students
Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Contribute positively to the wider Humanities department

Ideal Religious Education Teacher:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
Experience teaching Religious Education at secondary level
Experience teaching or preparing students for GCSE examinations
Strong classroom management skills
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Passion for inspiring and motivating young people
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people
