We're looking for a passionate Biology professional to join our team as a part-time Biology Course Manager & Lecturer, combining teaching with the opportunity to shape an outstanding learner experience.

You’ll play a key role in managing Biology study programmes while also delivering Science and Biology teaching within our Dental Technology curriculum. This is a great opportunity to make a real impact without the demands of a full-time teaching role. You’ll work alongside an experienced curriculum team to deliver an innovative, well‑sequenced curriculum that prepares learners for their next steps, while coordinating course delivery, learner progress, achievement and support.

You’ll contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and employer engagement, ensuring programmes reflect current skills needs and opportunities across Further Education. You’ll also work closely with tutors, support teams and internal and external stakeholders to ensure learners receive an outstanding experience.

• A Biology expert with industry experience and a strong knowledge of the subject, ideally with experience teaching A Level Biology.
• A passionate and inspiring teacher who can engage learners, support their progress and drive high levels of achievement.
• A relevant Biology degree (BSc or above), with a teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one, alongside a commitment to ongoing professional development.
• A collaborative team player who is organised, reliable and confident working with colleagues across different curriculum areas.
• A digitally confident educator who can use classroom‑based technology to enhance teaching, learning and the learner experience.
• Someone who cares about learners and their future, committed to inclusive education, enthusiastic about Biology and willing to share their expertise across Science and Biology provision where needed.

• Annual Salary: £16,182 - £18,461
• Part‑time position, 15 hours per week, all year round.
