Experienced HLTA | Harrow | Immediate Start A supportive two-form entry primary school in Harrow is seeking an experienced HLTA to join their dedicated team immediately. This HLTA role is ideal for experienced HLTAs looking to further develop their career in education, including those who are considering training as a teacher in the future. It would also suit qualified teachers looking to step away from full-time teaching responsibilities while remaining closely involved in education, as well as current HLTAs ready to expand their impact within the classroom.
HLTA | Role
Summary:
Support teaching and learning across Reception to Year 6 Deliver pre-planned lessons in the absence of a teacher or during PPA cover Lead small group interventions and contribute to planning where appropriate Promote a nurturing, inclusive, and positive classroom environment HLTA | Candidate Profile:
Minimum of one years experience working in a UK primary school as a Primary Teacher Holds QTS or meets HLTA professional standards through relevant experience Strong knowledge of the UK primary curriculum Confident leading a class and managing behaviour effectively Able to plan and deliver engaging lessons independently Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively alongside teaching staff Ideally looking to continue developing their career in education, with an interest in training as a teacher in the future What the School Offers: A collaborative and supportive team environment Ongoing professional development, including training in SEN, safeguarding, and curriculum areas A strong focus on staff wellbeing and work-life balance Key Details:
